Our goal is to offer the tools needed to help our clients achieve their best possible lives — as evidenced by personal balance, a sense of healthy control, an ability to develop and maintain quality relationships, and the confidence to move forward.
To fulfill that mission we implement best-practice, evidence-based strategies, and work to provide a safe and nurturing environment where all are respected, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

We aim to promote social-emotional development and to prevent or mitigate the development of mental health challenges — through evidence-based strategies, qualified and competent staff, effective mental health consultation, and collaboration within and outside our agency.
We will accomplish this by using evidence-based strategies in our services, by providing qualified competent staff, by implementing effective mental health consultation, and by working collaboratively within and outside of our agency to address client needs.

Services for every stage

Individual therapy
One-to-one sessions for children, adolescents and adults, built around the goals the client sets for themselves.

Small facilitated groups where shared experience becomes part of the recovery process.

Outpatient treatment
Structured mental health treatment that fits around school, work and family rather than replacing them.

Supportive counseling
Steady, practical support through a difficult season, a loss, or a transition.
Our story
One provider in 2009. Four counties and a plan by 2026.
2009
A single provider
Rehoboth Counseling Services PLLC begins as a private mental health practice with one provider.
2016
Into the Trillium network
Trillium accepts Rehoboth as a group practice. The work is primarily with children, and training follows that focus into Play Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT.
2021
First enhanced services contract
Rehoboth obtains its first contract with Trillium for enhanced services.
2022
PSR begins in Gates County
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services begin in Gates County, North Carolina, and continue for adults living with mental illness.
2024
Hertford County, and a Bertie license
PSR services begin in Hertford County. Rehoboth is licensed for Pre-Hospitalization in Bertie County.
2026
Residential care for children
A plan to develop residential care for children in Bertie County.
